The 2 Things Challenge this week is April/October, and it was tougher than I thought it would be. Half of this is from April, and half from October. Which is which?

I have no clue which is which... now you know that I am clueless when it comes to flowers and growing things in general.

If I had to guess I would say that the purple-ee one is October and the yellow is April??? How did I do?

wow, you got them both in one photo.....very cool. And I love the contrasting colors in here. Pink is April and yellow is October, the golden rod I do believe, which makes a lot of people miserable!.
A little photo editing helped.
You know something I read a while back said that goldenrod gets a bum rap and that the real culprit is ragweed which blooms at the same time, but just isn't as colorful and noticeable.
I don't know for sure, though.
