For the last few weeks it has been hot and muggy in Alabama, with sunny mornings and frequent afternoon thunderstorms, often very windy with lots of sizzling hot lightening, loud cracking thunder, and gully washing downpours. Sunday afternoon these silver lined lead bellied clouds were swirling around before the real boss thunder boomers got here.
I am a retired nuclear engineer. I've been looking through one kind of viewfinder or another since I was about 12 years old. I've finally decided, in my retirement, to learn how to take a photograph.

Not when they blow huge trees down across your driveway and take down your power lines and phone line.
Hm, makes me feel like I'm looking at the sky under water.
