St. George Island Crowds

There was one small stretch of the beach that was crowded, down where the houses were crammed together only a few feet apart, but mostly it was empty (see here).

If you crop way in close and throw in a filter, it starts to get a little pixilated and the crowded section of the beach looks sort of like a water color.

I don't remember seeing these on the beach from my trips years ago, but the last few years there seem to have been more and more of them.

52 Photos Project: Summertime Refreshments

I've been at the beach for a few days, thus I'm a little late posting to the current 52 Photos Project: Summertime Refreshments.  Normally I don't drink much water.  Sixty four ounces a day is way out of my realm.  In fact, I get almost all my fluids from coffee, an occasional Diet Coke, and a glass of wine.  Water is for when I'm sweating, so when I'm sitting in the 95 degree heat, and the sand is bouncing the sun back up at me, it's hard to beat a cold bottle of water.  Hard, but maybe not impossible.

Not My Favorite Part, But . ,

 . . a crowded day at the beach is still better than a day at work (as I recall, since I don't work anymore).
