Orange Moon On A Foggy Morn

My wife spotted this moon peaking through the clouds as she drove early one day last week to babysit her grandson. She called me. I threw on some clothes and grabbed the camera and tripod. Off I went, but so did the clouds. It was a good moon anyway.

What a glorious shot, I like the depth of the trees leading to the moon.

Wow....this photo is surreal!
I wrote a poem about the orange moon a few years ago. Lemme dig it out of my archives and post it on my poetry blog for you and your wife...

Wow! You were Johnny on the Spot for this one. I'm never that quick, not having to grab my tripod I'm not.

Fabuloso.

I've looked at this post on my flat screen monitor at home and on 3 different CRT monitors, and the CRTs are so dark I can barely, if at all, see the tree silhouettes.Everybody needs an LCD monitor to really appreciate photos on the web.
