This stone (I think it is actually concrete) statue of Jesus graces a small family plot in the nearby Wilsonville Cemetary. Some stares can be mean, contemptuous, inquisitive, interested, or simply blank, but this one seems compassionate.
I am a retired nuclear engineer. I've been looking through one kind of viewfinder or another since I was about 12 years old. I've finally decided, in my retirement, to learn how to take a photograph.

Good One! I could not think of anything for this week
I love the wear and weathering in this photo. It seems to add emotion to the statue.
Perfect for this week's theme.
Love the composure of this black and white photo and of course.....great for the challenge!
