Wednesday night Central Alabama was hit for the fourth time this winter with snow or ice, VERY unusual.
Fortunately, this was the best kind, the roads were absolutely clear the next morning.
I do worry about the 21st Street bridge over the railroad tracks in downtown Birmingham, though. Note the sign for a bridge with 3 lanes of traffic and parking on both sides of the street.

I think alot of places are being hit with snow and ice that don't usually get it. Bridges scare me especially if you add black ice... but someone better think the weight limit on that bridge.
ToOdLeS.
Somebody did an
"oxymoron" with the design of the bridge and weight limit.
Larry, I love the top photo of the trees lightly dusted with snow....beautiful! Is that your yard?
PS....yes, very unusual, but a sign of the times....don't ya thing? It has already been written in the Bible.....I, for one, think we are already seeing the signs....the weather for one....
Yes, Vivian, that's my yard. The nice thing about the snow is you can't really see the heavy layer of oak leaves from last fall that I have yet to clean up.
A nice dusting of snow that doesn't last for months!
