A long time ago we had a challenge that was Fire/Water. See my interpretation here.
I happened to still have an image of the results of that particular little photo shoot, and the glass certainly experienced a hot crack or two or many. Tink, tink, tink.

Nice interpretation. Great that you were able to get a before and after of the experiment.
Hammering the glass too hard at a wedding to get the bride and groom to kiss may cause glass breakage. ;)
