2 Things Challenge: View/Partial

The 2 Things Challenge this week is View/Partial.

I drove around one afternoon about a month ago trying to capture an image that showed the many various shades of green the trees have when they first start to leaf out.  I was not terribly satisfied with anything I got, but this one shot did give a partial view of a distant "mountain" through the gap in the trees coming down the hill on Highway 30.
And from the archives, I found a view of the partial moon I liked, although it is far from my best moon shot.  The one thing I like about the partial moon over the full moon is the light is at a more oblique angle and gives more definition to some of the craters than you get on a full moon.

Don't ya just love all the different colors of the spring leaves? Nice photo, Larry. And I love the moon photo....deep blue...looks like the moon is rising up out of water.

Cool!

Later.
