Two Things Challenge - Hand Pink

I like to enter the Two Things Challenge when I can. It's been a while, though, since there was a challenge. I guess Janet has been having too much fun in Europe, but now the challenge is Hand/Pink.

The Hand: Kristina's, right after she became a new mom last April.

The Pink: Mason's tiny little feet when he was only twelve days old. He's now eight months old and quite a bit bigger.

The Photo: Priceless.

Thanks all. I've loved that photo since I took it (and several others to get it). Come on Rob, dig your archives and put something out there.

Vivian,
I have a piece of black velvet which sucks up all the light that gets near it. I draped Mason's legs with it, and had Kristina's hand come in from the side. Even with black velvet, though, I had to touch up a couple of very minor flecks of light.

(Black velvet? Ooo, gotta get me some of that. I love picking up helpful tidbits from other photogs.)

Lovely, lovely photo and interpretation.
